Castleglen is a CFA Registered cattery located in Region 7. My name is Jean Walters Gilbert. We are persian cat Show/Breeders.and members of the ATLANTIC HIMALAYAN CLUB and the CFA Persian Breed Council and a TICA registered cattery.. We are a PKD DNA Tested Negative Cattery. I am a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution--my grandmother was re-organizing Regent of Thronateeska Chapter), First Baptist Church and an inactive member of Jr. Woman's Club.
We hope you will fall in love with the beautiful cats that bless our hearts and are part of the spirit of Castleglen. We actively show in Region 7..
We breed for health, heavy boning and type and sapphire blue eyes in our himmies and we have added distinguished pure persian lineage tabbies in mackeral and classic pattern for a separate breeding program of dominant agouti tabbies. We work with National and Regional Winning lines that are blended in our pedigrees that include but are not limited to Tambourine, Tehy, FanciFX, Tuftons, Joleigh, Black Ice, Red Sky, Harwood, Pa-Ha's, Mount Cascade, Kat-E-Shak, Teah, Careyata, Karabel, Arenel, Dragonfyre, Playwickey, Karisimakat..: Pedigrees may be seen by request.
Our Kittens are never caged and are raised as a special part of our family. We breed for Quality, not Quantity- We breed for our own personal preferences but strive to do so within the CFA written standard. Our Kittens are well socialized and checked by our own personal vet prior to placement. Our greatest desire is that our kittens be incorporated into a Forever home where they will also be loved and cherished just as they are here at Castleglen!
